![]() Kahoot is a free online learning platform invented by Alf Inge Wang and developed in Norway.
It was released online in August of 2013, and is still in Beta. Kahoot has over 50 million users world wide and is has grown emmensly in popularity over the past couple of years. It is basically a form of formative assessment that has users answer multiple choice or discussion questions together in real-time. A question set is referred to as a Kahoot. |
Educators can create their own Kahoots or use and/or modify the over 3 million public Kahoots available. The 'game' can be played using any device that has a web browser and Internet access.
